		<description>I think it was on the Motley Fool website that I was reading recently about the level of corruption in Russia and the impact it was having on business. Apparently IKEA, and several of the oil majors were intimidated. IKEA eventually just packed up and left.

Obviously Ireland has different challenges but nonetheless to have ourselves ranked in the same economic bracket as Russia is worrying.</description>

		<description>Interesting indeed but it also points to the useless art of forecasting, as has been repeatedly pointed out by Nassim Nicholas Taleb.

Interesting also how Irish politicians seek to deny Ireland&#039;s geographical position and move us away from a major trading partner, the UK.</description>
